CRCST Certification Preparation Course

Signing up for classes through Sterile Education provides the following:
  • Your seat for the 16 week in-person class in our state-of-the-art training center at Bitwise (currently offered online during COVID-19 pandemic) IAHCSMM CRCST Training Manual ($85 value).
  • Live Instruction with Sterile Education owner, Adam Okada (CRCST, CIS, AAMI voting member, & President of the Central California Chapter of IAHCSMM).
  • 16 guest speakers from the Sterile Processing community (including local hiring managers) to help you make connections in the industry.
  • Access to the Sterile Education mobile app Sterile Education custom CRCST training flash cards Virtual CRCST lessons, videos and trainings to help you study from home.
  • Assistance with connecting to local hospitals and medical facilities as a volunteer to help you get on-the-job training.
Please note that this a preparation course only, and once you have completed the course, you will not be automatically certified.

No, the CRCST Manual will be provided for you, and all assignments & quizzes will be posted online
No. Live class sessions will be recorded and posted on the classroom page for later viewing in case you miss it. But participating in the live class session is still the best way to absorb the material, so attendance is strongly encouraged!
No, we offer a CRCST “Preparation” Course to prepare you for taking the CRCST exam. We will give you the knowledge and skills to navigate the test, and help guide you through the test taking process, but passing the exam will be up to you and there are no guarantees. If you do end up failing the IAHCSMM exam, contact Sterile Education directly and we will work with you to prepare for a re-take.
